ACCOUNTABILITY

What I'm sharing with you comes from the Bible which after my own personal salvation experience at the age of 26 (over 40 yrs. ago) has proven totally actuate. It's God's Word to us.

In Isaiah 55:8,9  we are told something very basic yet very important for us to see and understand.  "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts."

Romans 14:12 - So then each of us will give
                            an account of himself to God.

Clearly the Creator is unique from creation. His standards for life and living is all that really matters. It's Him we MUST give account to.  We can be sure of this, no one is going to escape Divine accountability.

Hebrews 9:27 tells us that "it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment"  We all physically die BUT that is not the end. We are more than just physical bodies. We have a soul and spirit that goes beyond the physical.

Sin (a standard of living contrary to God's ways) entered God's creation. Kind of like a cancer to the human body. Because of God's love for His creation He has chosen to remove the spiritual cancer of SIN.

 SIN = Self
           Indulgence
           Nature

            OR

 SIN = Self
           Interest
           Nature

The God given cure for sin is Jesus. Only He has the power to cleanse us of this spiritual disease. We MUST take Him in. On so doing He enters us and cleanses us making us presentable to the Father. Have you received Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior? Have you taken Him in? He's the only cure!

John 5:24 - Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears My word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.

John 3:3 - Jesus answered him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is BORN AGAIN he cannot see the kingdom of God." It's when we receive Jesus into our lives as our personal Lord and Savior that we receive God's cure for the spiritual cancer of sin.
