God's Salvation Purposes Through Jesus
Lk.1:74,75 - to grant us that we, being
delivered out of the hand of our enemies, might serve Him without fear,
75 in holiness and righteousness before Him all the days of our
lives.
- Deliverance from the enemy
- Able to serve the Lord
- No fear
- In holiness and righteousness
- All our days
Pr.4:18 - But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shines MORE
and MORE unto the perfect day.
Lk.4:18 “The
Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the
gospel (good news) to the poor (in spirit);
He has sent Me to heal the broken-hearted, to preach deliverance to the
captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are
oppressed;
- Jesus brings the GOOD NEWS
- There's good news for the poor in spirit
- Jesus has come to HEAL the broken hearted
- There's DELIVERANCE for the (spiritual) captives
- There's recovery of sight for the (spiritually) blind
- Freedom for the (spiritually) oppressed
Lk.10:19 - Look, I give you authority … over all the
power of the enemy. And nothing
shall by any means hurt you.
Rom.8:37 - …we are more than conquerors through
Him who loved us.
